Melanie V. Melanie Miguel-Courtad graduated from John Carroll University in 1991 with a Bachelors and Arts Degree and went on to attend the Cleveland Marshall College of Law.  She obtained her Juris Doctorate Degree in 1994 and was admitted to practice Law in the State of Ohio in May 1995.  In 1998, she was admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of Ohio.  She is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, Ohio Employment Lawyers Association, Cleveland Employment Lawyers, Cleveland Employment Lawyers Association, The Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers and the Cleveland Academy of Trial Attorneys.  She has been named as an Ohio Super Lawyer for the past two years.  This is an award that only 5% of the lawyers in the State of Ohio receive each year.
